Ranbir Kapoor Confesses On His Insecurity

Ranbir-Kapoor-Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s Bombay Velvet did not turn up well at the Box Office recently and it seems that has extremely affected the actor and his career. Where even his last films ‘Besharam’ (2013) and ‘Roy’ (2015) didn’t work out well for him.

Directed by Anurag Kashyup, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s Bombay Velvet is been criticized all over on the social networking sites. The film didn’t lead to the audience expectations.

Recently during an interview, Ranbir Kapoor said that he has no idea about what’s happening in his career. He already knows what’s happening with his work, but he is clueless of what is going to happen in his career. He also stated that he has a feeling of insecurity from inside. He even felt that, the actor is remembered by his last film as his last two films ‘Besharam’ and ‘Roy’ didn’t work well.

Bombay Velvet is based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book Mumbai Fables that narrates the story of how the city in ’60s became a metropolis. The film released on May 15 and has not managed to go well on screens. Starring Ranbir KapoorAnushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles, Bombay Velvet failed to collect the revenue as compared to the official budget of the film.

Despite of one failed movie this year, Ranbir Kapoor still has more big projects this year. The actor has Tamasha with Deepika Padukone, Jagga Jasoos with beau Katrina Kaif and Aey Dil Mushkil with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma. Speculations are also that the actor will be seen in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, but yet there is no confirmation regarding this one project.
