Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan are in news again! No, they were not caught smoking, again. If reports are to be believed, mummy Neetu Kapoor is out seeking a bride for her darling son, Ranbir. In the meanwhile across the border, Mahira Khan has revealed plans for second marriage! Is this merely a coincidence?
It has been speculated that mummy Neetu Kapoor has not been overly fond of son Ranbir’s girlfriends. Neetu has been insisting Ranbir to settle down since the past few years. Like any mother, if Neetu spots a beautiful young single girl, her first thought is to introduce Ranbir to her. It seems like Neetu has been looking for an NRI bride with no Bollywood connections for her son. Reportedly, after much imploring, the Rockstar actor has decided to heed his mother’s advice. The mother and son duo met a prospective bride in London. The meeting was said to be fixed by a close family friend. Looks like Ranbir is ready to walk the path that Shahid Kapoor took when he got married to Mira Rajput Kapoor in an arranged marriage.
Recently, Ranbir and Mahira were in news because of their alleged dating rumours. Two have been spotted together at award shows and having private conversations. Though that is not what fueled the dating rumours. A few months back, Ranbir and Mahira were spotted in New York. In the grainy pictures, we could see Ranbir and Mahira smoking. As soon as those pictures surfaced, they spread like wildfire. Ultimately the two had to release statements to fizzle out the rumours.

While across the border, Mahira has been discussing plans for her second marriage. During press interactions for her much talked about ‘Verna’, the Pakistani beauty revealed her plans. Mahira said since it is her wedding she can go anywhere she wants. Possibly the somewhere up north as she definitely wants a destination wedding.
Previously Mahira was married to Hollywood director Ali Askari. The two got married in a traditional Islamic wedding ceremony in 2007. The couple got divorced in 2015. They share a son Azlan Khan.
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is filming for his role in the upcoming biopic on Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie is based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, the film features Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Manisha Koirala as Nargis. The movie began filming in June 2017 and is expected to release on March 30th, 2018.
