MUMBAI: Bollywood funny man Ritesh Deshmukh is all set to foray into television with his turn as dance reality TV show judge ‘India’s Dancing Superstar’.
The comically capable actor will be seen judging children, young adults, couples and even grandparents as they battle it out to be crowned India’s Dancing Superstar.
Dressed in a crisp steel grey suit and a snazzy orange vest, Riteish was all smiles as he interacted with the media, admitting his excitement to judge the show. “Ten years back I did my film debut and now through this show I am doing my television debut. It is wrong to call it a small screen. If you talk in terms of reach then there is no bigger screen than television.”
“Dance is an integral part of Indian films. I love dancing and also enjoy watching dance reality shows on TV,” Riteish added.
The reality show will be hosted by TV anchors Aishwarya Sakhuja and Mohit Malhotra
Ritesh didn’t even complain about his packed schedule. “Shooting for ‘Grand Masti’ and ‘India’s Dancing Superstar’ back-to-back. Long hours, but enjoying being on both the sets,” he had tweeted earlier.
‘Grand Masti’ is the sequel to the 2004 comic caper ‘Masti’, starring Ritesh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi.
