The movie opened against ‘Batman V/S Superman – Dawn Of Justice’ and let’s just say that the Hollywood flick completely blew ‘Rocky Handsome’ out of the race. This was true even when it came to paid previews between both the films. On the first day, Rocky Handsome collected 1.5 crore net in paid previews and collected 5.5 crores net across the country.

Initial collections from mass-movie watching demographics like UP, Rajasthan and CPCI were fair but steadily declined as the day progressed. The collections from multiplexes were just abysmal at best. Since the T20 World Cup is on as well at this time, it looks like the movie won’t be faring any better than it did on the first day.[/tps_footer]
