Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan’s Tubelight starring Salman Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, is the much-awaited film of the year. The makers of the film recently wrapped up the shoot and the film is expected to hit the screens this year on Eid. Also, Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Tubelight has left fans curious for the film as Salman and SRK will be seen sharing the screen space after almost a decade. Well, the film has managed to create a lot of buzz since its inception due to its casting and backdrop of Sino-Indian war.

Now as per reports, Salman Khan, who is co-producing the film, wanted Katrina Kaif to be a part of the film. Reportedly, Salman spoke to Kabir Khan and demanded a cameo for Katrina in the film. However, the director thought that it isn’t fitting into the script and so, the idea was dropped at the last moment. Nevertheless, this is not disappointing as Salman and Katrina Kaif are coming together on the silver screen again with their sequel of Ek Tha Tiger.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Salman Khan’s alleged girlfriend Iulia Vantur has recorded a song for Tubelight. On Salman Khan’s suggestion, the makers replaced the original singer and recorded a song for the film by Iulia Vantur. The first trailer of Tubelight is all set to release in April as the film is currently in post-production stage.
