The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor was roped in as their brand ambassador and we were absolutely smitten by the campaign pictures the brand rolled out during ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’. Khan looked regal in those pictures.

This video is a nostalgic walk don’t memory lane with its melodious, soothing and very rustic background score. Conceptualized by J. Walter Thompson, the film showcases the beauty of its collections through a female model in a regal setting. Her joyous moods and interactions with her partner and a young girl are complemented by the jewellery. Khan delivers the story of two centuries in three words: shudhdhta, vaada, vishwas (purity, promise, trust) before introducing PNG Jewellers and the tagline, ‘Parampara achchai ki’ (Tradition of goodness).

PNG Jewellers is known for its rich history, and over the years they’ve expanded from being a regional brand to a global one, with stores launching internationally as well. Salman has played a big part in familiarizing a global audience to this brand, which stands for trust, purity and commitment.
All of that being said, we simply watched the video over and over again. The reason was that this video transported us back to the 90’s and Salman looks like he is on the sets of a Rajshri film, ready to be addressed as the ‘Prem’ we all grew to know and love.
