Everyone’s attention is on Salman Khan, as the actor will step in the box today in front of the court to put his defence and explain the circumstances that led to the unfortunate event.

Today is a very crucial day for the actor as his statement will be recorded under section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code. When Salman takes the stand, the actor will get the opportunity to state his version of the mishap that took place in 2002.
During Salman‘s recording of statement before the court, the Judge D W Deshpande will get to question the accused on certain aspects of the trail, as informed by Pradeep Gharat. Once Salman records his statement, he would also get an opportunity to cross examine defence witnesses if he wants to. After that, the court then would hear arguments of both the sides before coming to any verdict.

Till now already 25 witnesses have submitted their evidences in this case. If convicted, Salman could spend up to 10 years in prison.
