MUMBAI: After receiving a phenomenal response to the release of the ‘Dabangg 2’ trailer on ‘Bigg Boss 6’ two weeks ago, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan wants to unveil ‘Fevicol se’ on the reality show.
This will be the first video release from the ‘Dabangg 2’ team.
It is expected that Kareena Kapoor will be present on the show this Saturday and even display few of the signature moves from the song.
The makers decided to use the platform of ‘Bigg Boss 6’ rather than release it independently because of the show’s popularity, and also Salman’s connection to the show. In all likelihood, this will be a win-win situation for the makers of the movie as well as the show.
‘Fevicol se’ is perhaps the most awaited item song for several reasons. Apart from the fact that it is a part of the ‘Dabangg’ franchise, this is Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first performance post her wedding.
Additionally, ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ had set the standards, and ‘Fevicol Se’ will need to really beat that record.
The music is already a hit with the audience, and a sneak peak of Kareena’s look in the song – she is wearing a Manish Malhotra creation – has set the expectations really high.
