MUMBAI: Salman Khan has made it pretty clear that his films will always see a festive release. While, his last few films have been released coinciding with Eid, his next ‘Mental’ is also slated for release on Republic Day.
But the bigger news that comes after Salman Khan has confirmed to be a part of Sooraj Barjatya’s next film is that the film would release in Diwali 2015. The film will go on floors in July 2014. Salman Khan will wrap ‘Mental’ and Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ and then start work on the Rajshri’s yet untitled film.
It was reported that Salman Khan requested Boney Kapoor to shift the dates for ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ and the producer agreed.
‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ released on Diwali in 1999 and it was the biggest hit that year. So now, when Sooraj Barjatya returns after a hiatus after 8 years and that too with Prem aka Salman Khan it would be great to see fireworks on screen again.
But for that we will have to wait for two long years. Sigh!
