Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan is currently in the news for his upcoming film Tubelight, starring Salman Khan. The film, which also stars Chinese actor Zhu Zhu and the late actor Om Puri in pivotal roles, is said to be a historical war film written and directed by Kabir Khan. The makers of the film recently wrapped up the shooting and the film is expected to hit the screens this year on Eid. Also, Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in Tubelight has left fans curious for the film as Salman and SRK will be seen sharing the screen space after almost a decade.
Meanwhile, Kabir Khan has reportedly geared up for his next too and this time, it is said to be with Amitabh Bachchan. Yes, you read that right! According to PTI, Amitabh Bachchan has apparently said yes to working with the director. This will also be the first film under Kabir Khan’s production banner. An official announcement will be made soon.
It is surely going to be exciting to see Kabir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan collaborating with each other for the first time. Well, Kabir Khan is known to bring larger than life roles on the silver screen, we wonder what would be Big B’s role in his next. The film will reportedly go on the floors later this year, after the release of Tubelight.
