‘Hero’ is directed by Nikhil Advani and it is produced by Salman himself. It is a remake of Subhash Ghai‘s directed 1983 film of the same name, which starred Jackie Shroff. Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj and Sunil Shetty’s daughter Athiya are in the leading roles in the film. The film is about a boy and a girl who get stuck in a whirlpool of such intense love that they would do anything and go to any extent and face all odds for the one they love. Athiya Shetty plays the role of daughter of formidable chief police while Sooraj Pancholi plays the role of poor boy who has raised himself on unforgiving Mumbai streets.
