MUMBAI: Salman Khan’s female fans have even more reason to rejoice. Besides the fact that the ‘Dabangg’ superstar is the yummiest eye candy around, now his lady fans can even wear their love for him right on their sleeves!

Reportedly, Salman Khan’s newly launched lifestyle and retail brand ‘Being Human’, clothes from which Salman is always seen donning, will be available for women from March end. In the pipeline is a range of clothing exclusively for women, which will see tee-shirts, hot pants, skirts and much more. The aim of the ‘Being Human’ line is to establish itself as a Rs 350 crore brand entity by 2015, from its current Rs 35 crore.

All this while, celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha were seen in the ‘Being Human’ men’s tees, which they were sporting unabashedly at fashion shows for his NGO.

Says Mandhana Industries Ltd, VP Finance & Corporate Affairs, Mitesh Shah,“Nearly 15% of the ‘Being Human’ tees that go off shelves are taken by women.” Mandhana Industries entered into a licensing agreement with Salman Khan’s foundation ‘Being Human’ for marketing and distributing the clothing line. Mitesh confirms that the brand will offer a brand new range to cater to women.

“Women’s line of clothing from ‘Being Human’ would be launched by March-end,” says Shah.“The brand earns the highest per square feet revenue from Ahmedabad where it has one EBO. It left us amused. The market is smaller compared to Mumbai and Ludhiana where we have our EBOs. Yet, it generated monthly revenue of Rs 3000 per square feet. Considering people in Tier I and II cities are more starstruck, they would give us more business if we set shops there,” he said.

Plans are also in motion to open EBOs across New Delhi, Bangalore, Raipur, Kochi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
