A week ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s loyal and 18 years old bodyguard Shera, was booked for assault for allegedly beating up a staff, identified as Athar Umar Qureshi, with the butt of a pistol at a pub in Vile Parle. The DN Nagar police investigated the case and have found that the complaint against Shera was not supported by electronic evidence.
An officer from DN Nagar police station said, “Following the complaint by Qureshi, we started an investigation, followed by the process of gathering CCTV footage. However, the claims made by the complainant in his statement were proved false, with the CCTV footage not supporting his narration of the incident.”
But now, Shera has lodged a complaint at the Juhu police station saying that he is being threatened by the people. As per media reports, Shera in his 3-page complaint has mentioned that he is being followed by 6 people on two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
This complaint has come right after he was charged in the assault case at the DN Nagar police station. Shera in his complaint mentioned that some people came to his house and threatened him and that the allegations against him are baseless and false. As per Mid-day, a senior police officer has stated that the CCTV footage shows there were some people who tried chasing Shera from Andheri to Juhu and even tried to block his way.
A senior officer said, “There were a few people who tried to chase Shera’s car right from Juhu till Andheri and even tried to force him to stop by blocking his way, but he didn’t stop. From the CCTV footage, it looks like these people had planned to beat up Shera. However, the reason is yet to be ascertained.”
Meanwhile, the complaint of Shera has been registered and the police are investigating the case.
