Shah Rukh Khan, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film Fan and reality TV game show India Poochega – Sabse Shaana Kaun? has yet again collaborated with &TV for one of their television launches. The story about India’s only female Mughal ruler Razia Sultan will have Shah Rukh Khan narrating the story at the inception of the show.
Shah Rukh Khan is currently having fun shooting India Poochega – Sabse Shaana Kaun? which will be aired on March 2 on the new television channel &TV. During the shoot of which the team of &TV approached King Khan with a request of lending his voice for the history based series. Being a former student of history himself SRK asked the team to wait till he wraps up the ongoing shoot before making any decisions.
After which Shah Rukh Khan along with the makers of the history based show on the life of Razia Sultan discussed the entire plot and plans of the show. The show Razia Sultan, which will launch &TV, will introduce the only woman ruler of the Mughal period and the Delhi Sultanate, who reigned from 1236 to 1240. SRK did in-depth research about the timeline of the story, the characters, and even saw few visuals.

Shah Rukh Khan blew everyone’s mind when he added his own flavor to the script. A source from the sets revealed, “It was 1 am but SRK’s energy was high. While the channel representatives were happy with the first take, he insisted on doing it again with more variation. He then wanted to try something different and got under the skin of the characters, acting them out through dialogue.”
The source further added, “His is a recognizable voice with an immediate connect with audiences worldwide. The emotion he brought into the narrative has enhanced its impact many times over.”
Shah Rukh Khan left everyone in awe as he narrated the script in a neutral, third person’s tone with various voice modulations. “Dilli, Hindustan ka Dil…Dilli… aur is dil ki ek nabz hai Qutub Minar… Jisne sadiyon se dhadaktey is dil ko dekha hai… Dekha hai jisne kai takht-o-taj aabaad hotey… aur kitni saltanaton ko barbaad hotey,” the superstar opens the show as a ‘sutradhaar’.
