Everyone is excited to see Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan work with director Rohit Shetty, after all the duo created quite the magic with their last project Chennai Express together. Recent rumours suggest that the film’s plot is similar to Satyen Bose’s Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Mukul Anand’s Hum.
As rumoured, SRK’s role is a mixture of Ashok Kumar in Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Amitabh Bachchan in Hum. Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the role of a seeming misogynist, whereas Varun will be playing his flirty younger brother. In the film, Varun has a love interest, played by actress Kriti Sanon.
All the while, Varun playfully keeps teasing his elder serious brother SRK on his lack of interest in women. Soon enough it is revealed that in the past, Shah Rukh Khan had a beautiful lady in his life but she left him. After his love of life walks out on him, SRK loses all the hopes in love and becomes cold hearted. That’s the point where Kajol (If she gives her nod for the film) comes in the film.
Well, that’s some interesting plot but yet a rumour. In a recent interview with a leading daily, when asked about the rumours circling his next project with SRK, filmmaker Rohit Shetty waved it completely off by saying that the team of his film wrote the script three years ago, right after Chennai Express. Rohit didn’t agree with the rumours surrounding his project’s plot and rather declared that this, much anticipated film, in fact is going to be in a completely new territory, totally different from Chennai Express.
Well, we hope that at least a glimpse of film’s story is soon revealed by the director. Rohit Shetty‘s untitled film is most likely to go on floors in March. Though the rest of the cast has been finalised, Kajol‘s yet to give a green signal from her side.
