Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees is on its way for the shooting. The shooting is going to take place soon once the sets are ready.
The set for Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees is being made at Film City. Raees is a movie set in the 80’s and the team is recreating certain parts of Ahmedabad from that time.
Ahmedabad has changed a lot since then in terms of architecture and manner of living. So the team had no option but to recreate the city at the Film City to get the same look again for the movie. Also, they have some action sequences which they would prefer to shoot indoors rather than on a real location.

It is a massive set up and there is work going on around the clock. The team is looking into minor and intricate details and trying to ensure that the set is complete at the earliest.
Raees directed by Rahul Dholakia, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is scheduled to release by July 17 2015.
