MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor-producer Shashi Kapoor, underwent a cataract surgery two days ago at Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. He was discharged the same day.
Ram Narain, doctor and COO of the hospital has said, “He underwent cataract surgery. It was done at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital by Dr. Seema Behl. He is doing well and was discharged today”.
Born to Prithviraj Kapoor, Shashi is the youngest brother of the late Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. He is known for films like Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Heeralal Pannalal and Namak Halaal. Last year, he was also awarded with the Padma Bhushan.
