Swades (2004): Despite being made by an acclaimed filmmaker like Ashutosh Gowariker and starring A-List actor like SRK, Swades failed to work wonders at the box office. However the film is certainly one of the greatest of all times and was critically appreciated overseas as well as in India. The heart touching movie is till date a public’s favourite film and no matter what the box office numbers showed, nothing can take that away from the film.
