MUMBAI: Bollywood’s most bindaas 90’s diva Karisma Kapoor is doing her best to promote healthy living. Case in point being the launch of Healthy Alternatives Health Food at Godrej Natures Basket in Bandra, Mumbai.
We caught up with the stunning older sister of Bollywood Begum Mrs. Kareena Kapoor Khan at the health store, and were quite positively bowled over with her appearance and demeanour. Interacting with Dr. Anjali Mukherjee, Karisma lauded the store for their line of the finest health foods from across the globe.
Looking better and better by the day, Karisma is surely maturing with age, much like wine. The stunning yummy-mummy of two was seen in an indigo blue blouse and black skinny-fit trousers. On one arm was a black designer satchel bag, while the other held her Dior sunglasses. Her footwear though could’ve been better: we didn’t really dig the black pumps she chose.
Either ways, Karisma is looking just incredible these days. Gone are the days of that hideous, garish 90’s makeup, those god-awful costumes and cringe-inducing thick eyebrows, Karisma is now virtually unrecognizable from her 90’s screen persona. The lady has evolved both in style and in acting; the turning point of course being her role as Nisha in Yash Chopra’s romantic saga ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. Since then, Karisma hasn’t looked back, sartorially.
Her on-stage performance at a recent awards show, where she was joined on stage by the King of Hearts, Shah Rukh Khan himself, proved that the actress is in top form. The original dancing diva, Karisma Kapoor danced her heart out on stage at the tribute performance to Yash Chopra, and reminded everyone that she is raring to make a comeback to Bollywood, albeit not of the disastrous ‘Dangerous Ishq’ kind!
