MUMBAI: According to a recent survey conducted, not surprisingly, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has turned out to be the most searched celebrity online in 2012 in India.
Indo-Canadian adult entertainment star Sunny Leone was first introduced to Indian viewers as a controversial entrant into the house of Big Boss (Season 5). From there she was picked up by filmmaker Pooja Bhatt for erotic thriller ‘Jism 2’ with Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.
Other popularly searched topics according to the survey were: Aishwarya Rai’s post pregnancy weight gain, controversial queens Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra; as well as ‘Saifeena’ (Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor) and their much hyped wedding.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor understandably topped the list of the ‘Best Dressed Celebrities’ this year; While the ‘not so trendy’ Ekta Kapoor topped 2012’s ‘Worst Dressed’ list, with Mallika Sherawat racing her at a close second.
Amongst cricketers Virat Kohli raced ahead of Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Kevin Pietersen and Sachin Tendulkar, in being ‘googled’ the most.
