MUMBAI: The Paresh Rawal- Rajeev Khandelwal starrer ‘Table No. 21’ hit the theatres last weekend. Though the film did not do as well as was expected at the box office (SEE REPORT), ‘Table No. 21’ lead actor Rajeev Khandelwal is happy with the film’s modestly decent collections.
Despite the somber mood in the country, the cold wave in the North and the curse of January (wherein legend suggests that Bollywood films do not fare well in the first month of the year); ‘Table No. 21’ has managed to stay afloat, despite the previous releases like the Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg 2’ dominating at the Box Office.
We witnessed a success party for ‘Table No. 21’, where Rajeev was present with his co-star Tena Desae and the film’s director, Aditya Dutt. The film’s crew invited the media to partake in the feast, and they discussed all things related to the concept-thriller film, which is now gaining momentum due to word-of-mouth publicity.
Rajeev was the cynosure of all eyes, in a chic graphic printed tee and jeans. Tena kept it smartly casual in a white shirt blue jeans combo. Aditya matched her in a blue shirt and jeans, while Paresh Rawal was conspicuous at the event by his absence.
We couldn’t let Rajeev Khandelwal, the successful and critically acclaimed TV and film actor, go without hearing his take on the Box Office collections of the film. Rajeev Khandelwal says, “I am glad that the producers had the courage and the conviction in the project.”
