MUMBAI: Off late, you might have noticed that Shah Rukh Khan is looking slightly tired and under the weather. The reason for this, as revealed by the Bollywood superstar himself, is that he is overworked and he desperately needs a break!
Post the release, and subsequent record-smashing success of ‘Chennai Express’, SRK has jumped straight into work again. Shooting for Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ is on in full swing, and is definitely taking a toll on Shah Rukh’s energy levels.
Said SRK: “I will take a holiday after I finish Happy New Year, as last time I did not take it (holiday) after completing ‘Chennai Express’, I jumped on my next film. I will take a month’s off and then start a new film. There is Maneesh Sharma’s film on top, Rahul Dholakia’s movie and few other offers on which I will take a call,” he added.
Shah Rukh also spoke about the various scripts that are lined up for him to choose from. “Not yet (doing Maneesh Sharma’s film), when I do the film I will let you all know. I haven’t started anything new. I am going to work on Happy New Year for the next two months. There are three-four film offers… Whenever the film gets designed, I will decide accordingly.”
We certainly think that SRK could use a well-deserved break, especially considering the breakneck speed he has been working at for the past few months. And we wish to see a relaxed and rejuvenated Shah Rukh when he returns from his said break!
