MUMBAI: After the success of ‘OMG – Oh My God!’, director Umesh Shukla is geared up for his next venture.
There were reports that Umesh Shukla is directing the Arshad Warsi comic thriller produced by Girish Joshi. But, Umesh Shukla has clarified and said that he currently has his plates full with work.
Meanwhile, the director is headed to South Africa to scout locations for his next film, starring Abhishek Bachchan to be produced by T-Series.
A source close to the director says, “Umesh is making his next film bigger and hopefully even better. A major part of the film will be shot in South Africa, in several outdoor locations. Since the script demands it, both Umesh Shukla and Bhushan Kumar are leaving no stone unturned for a big fulsome experience.”
As an immediate step towards this, Umesh Shukla and his team are flying for a recce of the region. This is being done to keep Abhishek Bachchan in the loop so that he is aware of what to expect during the film’s shooting.
Umesh Shukla made quite a roar with his first film. With this recce, he is truly setting an example.
