Vivek Verma , a 25 year old Singer/Composer from the small town of Raniganj in West Bengal is a Popular Playback Singer ,Composer & majorly an Independent Artist from Bollywood Music Industry, As Vivek is not only a Music Composer but also a Music producer, Musician , Indian Classically trained Vocalist & Guitarist, He has won Bizasia Music Award For the Best Male Debut Singer for his song ‘ Mai Aur Tu’ and has been nominated for Golden Mikes Award, Vivek Loves integrating Electronic music with India Classical (Fusion), Being a well established Singer/Composer in India he is also known for his music pieces in major Bollywood movies like ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, ‘Teraa Surroorr’, ‘All is Well’, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and many more , Apart from this He is focusing in collaboration with different other Artists and Dj’s across India adding some groovy numbers to his Discography.
Vivek used to Perform at small events in his school days around his hometown, this eventually boosted his Confidence to face thousands of people while performing and this Gradually Groomed Vivek from a small Town boy to a B-Town Artist, His Eternal love for Sonu Nigam made the Foundation of his music carrier and he completed the journey from a small town boy to Bollywood.
Vivek’s Childhood is spent in the streets of Kolkata, A state rich in Art & Culture Majority , He says ‘ I have learned a lot from different artists from different states of India, Which Includes from Kolkata to Banaras’,. Belonging from the Middle class family Where his Parents were Teachers, it was not easy for him to pursue this journey, He mastered his skills of Understanding the role of sound in music and also completed his Sound Engineering and started producing music at a very early age, and at the age of 21 he got his Composition sung by iconic Bollywood singers like
Hariharan, Aaman Trikha & Arjuna Harjai.
Vivek Entered Bollywood an Assistant to Himesh Reshammiya and started producing music and playing Guitar in major Bollywood movies, later Vivek Verma debuted as a Playback Singer with his album ‘Colors of Sufi’
But Vivek got recognition from his song ‘Meri Jaan Chali’ which now has 11 million YouTube Views which helped him in gaining success and recognition in Bollywood music Industry.
He has already released two albums, including 25+ songs yet & has got featured with several famous Indian artists like Darshan Raval, Himesh Reshammiya & Rituraj Mohanty and international band like Antelope from United Kingdom. He is quickly becoming one of the most successful & famed in India’s growing Independent Music community.
