WHOA! Salman Khan’s Tubelight Breaks Shah Rukh Khan’s Record Even Before The Release

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s much-talked upcoming film Tubelight is one of the anticipated films of the year. Kabir Khan’s war drama, set in the backdrop of 1962’s Indo-China war is getting us all hyped up since its inception. There’s enormous hype around the film since director Kabir Khan in a statement said that Salman Khan’s performance in Tubelight is much better than Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Well, the film is still three months away from the release and has already started breaking records. This is Salman Khan Starrer and all you can expect is “new records”. According to reports, Indian distribution rights, except Central India (CI), has been sold to NH Studios for a record breaking amount of Rs 132 crore. If reports are anything to go by, this can be touted as biggest deal in the Bollywood till date. The film has already broken the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale, which was sold for whopping Rs 125 crore.

Reports further suggest that Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan has retained the Central India (CI) rights of the film, ‘Tubelight’. Salim Khan will be releasing the film along with an old friend, Aditya Chowksi and the two will be sharing the profits.

Well, any Salman Khan film is expected to be huge. The makers of the film are currently looking to sell overseas rights and are already in talks with several studios. However, nothing has been finalized yet.

Considering at the rate the film has been sold in India, Salman Khan’s Tubelight is surely going to break many records at the Box Office.
