Will Rajnikanth’s Fans Stop With Paalabhishekam Ritual ?

Now, we have with us activist Dr IMS Manivanna who has filed a suit against the wastage of milk on the cut outs and flex banners of Rajnikanth. It’s a ritual which a lot of die hard fans of superstar and living legend Rajnikanth, perform before any of his movie releases. It’s said, his fans waste litres of milk by giving a milk bath to the superstar’s cut outs and instead of this practice, that amount of milk should not be wasted and it should be given to a lot of children and people who are malnourished and are starving.


Well, Dr IMS Manivanna petition makes sense but don’t know what will be the reactions of Rajnikanth’s fans and there is no official announcement from Rajnikanth and his team over this issue. But, it’s said Rajnikanth has always been against any sort of wastage of food especially, during his new releases. Now, this case is proceeding in Bengaluru court and the next hearing will be on April 11. According to media reports, a legal notice has been sent to the actor and the court has asked him to respond to it.


On one hand, Rajnikanth will be honored for his contributions in the world of entertainment and he will receive Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award. It’s said Priyanka Chopra for her contribution in cinema and tennis player Sania Mirza will also receive this honour in another ceremony. And on the other side, Rajnikanth is facing a legal trouble because of the Paalabhishekam ritual performed by his fans.

For now, Rajnikanth is shooting for Enthiran 2.0 starring Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and many more. But, let’s see how Rajnikanth deals with this uninvited legal trouble and we hope all the fans of Rajnikanth be practical about this issue and let the proceedings of court to go ahead peacefully.[/tps_footer]
