MUMBAI: Anil Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to make his debut show ‘24’, an Indian adaptation of the hit American series a grand success.
From roping in versatile and seasoned actors like Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Anil Kapoor is now set to rope in another superstar for a cameo in the upcoming television series.
The buzz is that three big stars, the likes of Kamal Haasan, Rishi Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah are being considered for the role.
A source close to the production unit when contacted also said, “There are a few big stars making an appearance on the show every 2-3 episodes. As far as the new developments are concerned, we haven’t been updated on the same. For now the promos show Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher. Richa Chadda will also be a part of the show.”
With so many stalwarts part of the Anil Kapoor’s gang in ‘24’ the crime, suspense thriller, Bollywood seems to be all geared to shift gears from the big screen to the small screen.
And with Kamal Haasan or Naseeruddin Shah or Rishi Kapoor joining force too, ‘24’ has just got too heavy with the star value!
