As per a portal, Yami has a very short role in Kaabil. She will be there only in the first half of the film. Yami’s plays Hrithik’s love interest and wife in the film. It’s her murder that Hrithik avenges in Kaabil. So, approximately, her screen presence is only of 30 minutes. This is a little more than what she had in Badlapur. The role in Kaabil is similar to that of Badlapur. The only difference in Kaabil is Hrithik loses his eyesight.
The role was first offered to Parineeti Chopra who rejected it as she thought she has nothing much to do in the film. Hence, Rakesh Roshan has cast Yami in the film.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil is releasing on January 26, 2017. The film is clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees.
