MUMBAI: Mahesh Bhatt’s Blood Money starring Kunal Khemu and Amrita Puri failed to rake in the figures on the first day with collections of approximately Rs 17.5 million (Rs 1.75 crores) net. Continuing the trend, the weekend saw a stunted growth, with the total three day business being in the range of Rs 57 million (Rs 5.70 crores) net.
Lousy reviews, limited promotion and competition from upcoming big budget releases offers very little hope of a big jump from here.
Multistarrer Bumboo was an even poorer performer collecting approximately Rs 2.4 million (Rs 24 lakhs) net on its first weekend.
