MUMBAI: Vashu Bhagnani’s comic caper starring Riteish Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani has done net collections of approximately Rs 44 million (Rs 4.4 crore) on its opening day at the box office.
As was reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, Faltu’s opening at the box office was better than the Abhishek Bachchan starrer Game.
Game’s net collections on Friday were a mere Rs 12.5 million (Rs 1.25 crore).
With the ICC Cricket World Cup Finale between India and Sri Lanka today, the movies are unlikely to find any takers at theaters. Moreover multiplex chains in major metros are also screening the match LIVE at many of their properties today.
