holiday poster mainHoliday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Filmistaan released on June 06, 2014. While Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is doing steady business; Filmistaan is showing a gradual rise in its Box Office collections, thanks to a very strong word of mouth.

If one looks at the collection of Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, then one can very confidently say that the film is doing steady business and has managed to collect around Rs 542.7 million (Rs 54.27 crore) nett till date.

The drop in collection on the fifth day was limited. Due to positive reviews, Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is holding well at the Box Office even during weekdays.

Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, directed by AR Murugadoss, is a remake of Tamil hit Thuppakki (2012). The film had one of the widest releases in India with a screen count of three thousand and five hundred, which is one of the reasons why the film is faring well at the Box Office.

Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Vipul Shah.  Holiday – A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is likely to be the best ever for an Akshay Kumar starrer as it has found appreciation all over, but the only problem for the film is being that heavy price tag, which is playing spoilsport as the Worldwide distributors paid quite a premium for the film.

Other two releases of the week include Nitin Kakkar‘s critically acclaimed movie Filmistaan, which has been showing a slow grow over the days, thanks to the great content that the film boasts about.

The movie featuring Sharib Hashmi and Inaamulhaq has also been supported by celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Filmistaan has till date managed to collect around Rs 35 million (Rs 3.47 crore) nett which is very good for a film like this.

This week, June 13, 2014 films like 18.11 (A Code Of Secrecy…!), Bollywood Villa, Chal Bhaag, Fugly, Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai, The Untold Story Aahinsa and Unforgettable will release. Lets see how they fare at the Box Office.
