MUMBAI: While Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2’ starring Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh and Indo Canadia adult star Sunny Leone, may have had a fair opening, the collections over the weekdays took on a sluggish trend.
Out of the entire first week total of approximately Rs 287.5 million (Rs 28.75 crore) net, close to Rs 202.5 million (Rs 20.25 crore) net were generated in the opening weekend itself, including paid previews which were advantaged by a national holiday (Raksha Bandhan). This puts the contribution from Monday onwards on an extremely dull side.
While the skin-show by Sunny Leone was the main attraction for the cine-goers, the lousy reviews attributed to the film caught up soon. Not much is expected from ‘Jism 2’ in its second week, keeping in mind the BIG release of Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
