Box Office: Karan Singh Grover’s Hate Story 3 Nearing 30 Crore Mark

Compared to the drop on Monday, the collections dropped only 15% more on Tuesday and the film has managed to collect Rs. 3 crores net approx (Rs. 30 million). ‘Hate Story 3’ has been enjoying an upper hand compared to the other two releases in previous weekend. The film opened well on its first weekend, ensuring a good start for the weekdays.

‘Hate Story 3’ collected Rs. 8.25 crores net approx on Friday,Rs. 6.75 crores on Saturday and Rs. 7.50 crores on Sunday. The Monday collection of Rs. 3.50 crores shows more than 50% drop from its Sunday collection, and after Tuesday the total stands at Rs. 29 crores net approx (Rs. 290 million). The film will soon touch the 30 crore mark and is expected to collect around Rs. 34 crores net approx till the second weekend starts. If the second weekend proves to have growth, the film might touch the 50 crore mark which will be very impressive.

The film performed the best in Northern regions like UP, CP Berar, CI where such genre of films have huge audience. Performance in rest of Maharashtra apart from Mumbai and Pune have also been remarkable. ‘Hate Story 3′ has surpassed the performance of ‘Tamasha’ in the above regions as the latter released two weeks ago. Owing to the legacy of the film series, the film enjoyed an awareness among the audience who knew what the film will be offering.

Hate Story 3′ starring Sharman Joshi, Zareen Khan, Karan Singh Grover and Daisy Shah among others is a journey of erotica which shows romance, love, hate and revenge. The film is much more steamier and bolder than its preceding two parts and has taken the erotic vibe a notch higher.[/tps_footer]
