MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor’s thiller horror Ragini MMS led in collections at the box office over the weekend.

The movie saw net collections of approximatley Rs 37 million (Rs 3.7 crore) in its opening weekend. However given the hype and hoopla surrounding the movie, one was expecting better collections.

On the other hand, Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted has had a super run at the box office so far with total net collections of approximately Rs 180 million (Rs 18 crore) in 10 days, with this weekend bringing in Rs 35 million (Rs 3.5 crore) net.

Fox Star Studios’ Stanley Ka Dabba saw net collections of approximately Rs 14.9 million (Rs 1.49 crores) in its opening weekend. The weekend break up of Stanley Ka Dabba is as follows: Friday – Rs 24.9 lakhs, Saturday – Rs 49.1 lakhs and Sunday – Rs 75 lakhs. Shagird saw poor collections of approximately Rs 11 million (Rs 1.1 crore) over the weekend.

On the other hand, Rajshri’s Love U… Mr.Kalakaar! saw a very poor opening weekend.
