Box Office: Sajid Khan’s Humshakals; Day Two Collection

humshakalspostermainHumshakals that was released on June 20, 2014 has managed to collect approximately a total of Rs 222.50 million (Rs 22.25 crore) nett at the Indian Box Office in two days of its release.

Humshakals has not shown a huge dip nor a huge rise on day two considering the kind of criticism it received from both the critics as well as the audiences.

Just like Friday (June 20, 2014), even on Saturday (June 21, 2014) Humshakals did better business in multiplexes as compared to single screens. According to reports so far, Humshakals has done good business in Mumbai as compared to cities in North.

What is worrying is the fact Humshakals has been acquired by Fox Star India for approximately Rs 800 million (Rs 80 crore), now will the film be able to cover its cost, we need to wait and find out basis the collections on Monday.

Next week, June 27, 2014 will see Ek Villain, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and  Riteish Deshmukh, hitting the theaters. Now Ek Villain will give Humshakals tough competition as the film is carrying great pre-release reports.

Humshakals stars Saif Ali Khan, Ram Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh along with Bipash Basu, Esha Gupta and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Directed by Sajid Khan, Humshakals is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Fox Star Studios.
