On its first day itself, the film earned Rs. 26 crore net (260 million) approximately, whereas on Saturday, the film took a huge jump and collected Rs. 36.60 crore net (366 million) approx. Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s business at the box office on Sunday was even better as the film minted Rs. 37.40 crore net (376 million) approx. If compared to other Bollywood films, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan did an amazing business on week days. On the first working day of the week, Monday, the film collected Rs. 26.70 crore net (267 million) approx. Soon, the film started to see a small fall in the collections from Monday onwards as on Tuesday, Bajrangi Bhaijaan minted Rs. 21.10 crore net (211 million) approx. and on Wednesday it earned Rs. 18.20 (182 million). On its day 7 at the Box Office, Salman Khan’s action drama film collected 15.30 crore net (153 million) approx.Released on last Friday, the film has successfully completed its first week run at the Box Office with total first week collections of Rs. 181.30 crore net (1813 million) approximately.
However, director Kabir Khan’s action drama film is going through a small fall in collections each passing day. The film collected Rs. 18.20 crore net (182 million) approx. on Wednesday and the next day, Bajrangi Bhaijaan saw a fall of Rs. 2.9 crore in the collections.
The sort of numbers Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected every day on its opening week is extremely extraordinary. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was all set to break records the moment it shattered Kick’s opening day collections record at the Box Office by minting Rs. 26 crore net (260 million) approx. on its first day.
With its fabulous Thursday business at the Box Office, Salman Khan has yet again proved it that his films don’t need weekends to do a majestic business. Even though the EID factor is easing up, the film is still smashing records at the Box Office with its smooth run. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a fabulous run in places like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Punjab, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Gujarat, the film did a decent business in South.
However, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a splendid run at the Box Office on its opening week. Even on weekdays, the film minted excellent numbers. Kabir Khan’s action drama is already a massive hit everywhere. Now that the film has completed its first week run with firm and strong collections, we look forward to the sort of numbers it will bring in on its second weekend at the Box Office, as it will finally reveal whether the film ends up setting a new benchmark or not.
