Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is breaking all records in the Indian continent; with an impressive star cast the movie is gaining huge numbers at the box office. Earning Rs. 100.02 crore net approx. over the weekend and gaining the title of the highest weekend earner, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is creating history.
Coming to the overseas collections, the Salman-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijaan has earned $2.45 million (INR 15.56 cr) net approx. at box office on weekend. After setting the success rate high in Indian continent Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is also gaining momentum in the overseas with a steady start.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan opened to an overwhelming start in India earning Rs. 26 crore net (260 million) approx. at box office on the first day. With a festive release the Salman starrer movie garnered more audience on its second day earning Rs. 36.50 crore net (365 million) approx. at the box office. The movie has already earned the title of a record breaker and is attracting more viewers. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is not being applauded only for its star power but the film is receiving the brownie points for its content too.
All Salman movies in the past have been adored for its star presence; however with this film Bajrangi Bhaijaan the superstar has finally given his fans and other viewers a strong reason to watch his film. Nevertheless, another reason for the whooping collections of the film is that Bajrangi Bhaijaan is said to be showing the positive sides of both the nations, also the character of Munni played by Harshaali Malhotra isgathering loads of applauds along with the character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is proving to be one of Salman’s best films till date with depicting a journey of a little girl who gets stranded in India. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a strong social message in disguise.
