MUMBAI: Alumbra Entertainment’s ‘The Attacks of 26/11’, directed by Ram Gopal Varma, starring Nana Patekar and Sanjeev Jaiswal, has seen a fall in its collections post the slow weekend.
On Monday, Day 4, ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ managed a very weak Rs 7.28 million (Rs 72.8 lacs) at the box office, which is a notable reduction from the collections of the weekend.
As reported, On day 1, ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ raked in a very low Rs 13.3 million (Rs 1.33 crore) net at the box office. Day 2, Saturday was only marginally better, at an average collections of Rs 16.8 million (Rs 1.68 crore) net, with the biggest contributors being the circles of Mumbai and parts of Maharashtra.
Sunday too did not see any strong spurt, with collections of about Rs 18.5 million (Rs 1.85 crore) net.
The 4 day total of ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ currently stands at approximately Rs 55.8 million (Rs 5.58 crore) net.
With even the John Abraham starrer ‘I, Me Aur Main’ tanking at the box office (SEE BOX OFFICE REPORT), the future of both these films looks suspect.
