Talking about the film, Dangal is a sports biographical film based on the life of ace wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and the journey of his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat. Aamir Khan plays the role of Mahavir Singh, newbies Sana and Fatima play the role of Geeta and Babita in the film. Sakshi Tanwar is playing the support system of the father-daughter trio in the movie, being the backbone of the Phogat family. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is slated to release on December 23, 2016.
