Vijay’s Immense Social Work: Probably one of the only actor’s known majorly for his social work is actor Vijay. Every year during his birthday, Vijay distributes gold rings to new born babies at Egmore Government General Hospital. Once during his birthday the actor distributed free notebooks and school stationeries to 50 thousand poor kids. The actor prefers to spend his birthday by engaging in social activities rather than spending his money on lavish parties. He started  Vijay Makkal Iyakkam social welfare organization in 2009 and is known for distributing The Ilayathalapathy Vijay Educational Awards 2012 to young bright kids of Tamil Nadu. He also educates 32 children every year through his foundation.
