Burnt Trailer: Bradley Cooper And His Plate Full Of Troubles!

Bradley-CooperSeems like Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t the only one who has his eye on the Oscar trophy. After watching the recently released trailer of Bradley Cooper’s next film Burnt by director John Wells, we can’t help but see the clear competition! Yes, by the looks of it, seems like Burnt will get Bradley his fourth Oscar nomination.

As the trailer starts, we come face to face with film’s leading character, Adam Jones, who quit his school when he was 16 and took a one-way ticket to Paris with whatever money he had. Adam pursues his dream of becoming world’s best chef and opens his own restaurant. Adam is played by none other than Bradley Cooper himself.

The two minute long trailer tells everything that there’s to know and enough to keep us on our toes. With background sound of chopping and whisking, we see the story moving forward in full speed in the new trailer of Burnt. The trailer shows us how Adam had it all until he lost it all. In the film, Bradley plays the role of a talented celebrity chef, trying to re-establish himself and what he lost after facing a fall because of his addiction to drugs.

Bradley’s character Adam wasted his time “sniffing, snorting and injecting” himself and self-destructing his fame and the only thing he ever loved, his career as a chef. We hear him say in the trailer, “The kitchen’s the only place that I’ve ever felt I’ve really belonged” and it is pretty much clear that he loves every minute of it; the heat, the pressure, the violence.

The trailer shows us his success, obsession for cooking and passion for the art and also how he ruined it because of his addiction. As the trailer shows us his fall and inches closer to end, we see Bradley standing on the edge of a bridge, claiming that he is back.

Burnt also stars Bradley Cooper’s American Sniper co-star Sienna Miller. Written by Steven Knight, the film was earlier titled as ‘Chef’ and then ‘Adam Jones’ but finally after a lot of thinking, the makers settled with Burnt. The film also stars Omar Sy, Uma Thurman, Daniel Brühl, Emma Thompson and Matthew Rhys. The film is all set to hit the theatres on October 23, 2015.
