First Look: Dwayne Johnson Unveils First Official Look And Release Date Of ‘Baywatch’

Dwayne-Johnson[tps_footer]Get ready to meet the new ‘Baywatch’ squad. Hollywood wrestler turned actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson unveiled the first look of the upcoming movie last night. The actor posted a picture on his Instagram and facebook account.

The first look showcases the beach life of the squad. From left to right, the first look introduces Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Dwayne Johnson himself, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Zac Efron. The Rock is in a blue shirt and red shorts whereas Zac is covered in a red and blue jacket with matching shorts. Kelly is wearing a bikini whereas other two ladies Alexandra and Ilfenesh are wearing red swimsuits.

This photo may be the first exclusive look but the cast, especially Zac and Dwayne, has been teasing a lot lately with their set pictures. The duo was seeing filming riding a scooter together while the ladies looked badass  riding quad bikes on the beach. Not only that, there have been shirt-off contests going on offset which is a treat to our eyes.

We all know that our Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, who has been making her presence felt in Hollywood with her ‘Quantico’ series, will abe making her Hollywood movie debut with ‘Baywatch’. She will be seen as Victoria Leeds who is a baddie in the film. Though she is not in the first look of the film, we can expect a lot more of her in future teasers.

‘Baywatch’ is based on 1989 series with the same name that centers around the lives of a team of lifeguards and their relationships with each other, dangers of living life on the beach and much more. Dwayne plays the iconic character of Mitch Buchannon, Zac as Matt Brody, Alexandra as Summer Quinn, Kelly as C.J. Parker and Jon as Ronnie.

The film is directed by Seth Gordon. Dwayne also revealed that the film will be in theaters on May 19, 2017.[/tps_footer]
