Gotham Season 2 Teaser: Rise Of The Villains: Joker, Riddler And Tigress Cause Ruckus!

The season one of Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham ended with a bang. Just when we thought that Gotham couldn’t get more intense, the teaser of Gotham season 2 released. If you thought Gotham’s season 1 was rough, then you aren’t even prepared for Gotham’s season 2.

In this new teaser of Gotham’s season 2, all hell breaks loose and things get downright serious as Joker makes his entry! Only if one villain wasn’t enough, we also see Penguin and Tigress on their full glory. Season 1 of Gotham ended with Penguin getting rid of his enemies by this or that way and acquiring total control over the big bad side of Gotham, whereas Jim Gordon succeeded in winning a small victory for the Gotham Police Department. But the second season of Gotham is going to be different. In this season, the villains will rise. The teaser pretty much proves so. In this season, Jerome, also known as the Joker (younger version), is seen leading the underground scene. By the looks of it, Jerome with several other prisoners breaks out of Arkham Asylum with the help of Tabitha Galavan. Later, we see him causing big ruckus at the police department after he enters in the department dressed as an officer. We pretty much get the idea of Jerome’s evil intentions as he warns the audiences by saying, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.”

While Jerome held our major attention in the teaser of Gotham’s season 2, we also see Edward Nygma still working at the GCPD. The teaser also features Jim Gorden’s ex-wife Barbara Kean, who now has joined the dark side and is seen working with Jerome. There are just so many villains in the teaser of Gotham that we have to keep a track of all the names. We also see another fierce villain in the teaser, Tigress. While we can easily spot Jim kicking butts of bad guys in the teaser, Bruce Wayne and Alfred J. Pennyworth are nowhere to be seen. The teaser ends with Gotham season 2’s another main antagonist, Theo Galavan complimenting Jerome aka Joker on his laugh by saying, “Your laugh is fabulous. Use that.”

We certainly approve Gotham season 2’s teaser and are extremely excited to catch the new season soon. If only these big players weren’t enough to get your hope up, Gotham’s season two will also feature Mat Hatter, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Calender Man, Hugo Strange and a female Firefly. Catch the rise of villains onMonday, September 21, as Gotham’s new season premieres on Fox.
