Jamie Dornan who dons the cover of the June 2014 issue of Interview Magazine, for which he struck a shirtless pose, has confessed that he does not like his physique at all.
Jamie Dornan who made it as a male model before being cast as literary sex icon Christian Grey in the adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey, said, “I don’t like my physique. I was a skinny guy growing up, and I still feel like that same skinny kid.”
Jamie Dornan got noticed with Sofia Coppola‘s Marie Antoinette way back on 2006 but then he finally gained stardom in the year 2011 when he was cast as Sheriff Graham in Once Upon A Time.
“The problem, he openly admitted, was auditioning. “I’d been auditioning for parts for years. I never got any better at it. I’m crap at auditions. I know there are people who can walk into those rooms and make those lines sing on the page and get the job immediately. I wasn’t one of them. I’m still not one of them.” stated this talent actor.
Fifty Shades Of Grey would be Jamie Dornan‘s first major movie role as a leading man following his strong performance as a serial killer on television drama The Fall.
When asked if there is a difference between acting in films and in television, Dornan stated that good acting is good acting on any size screen.
“I have just finished watching True Detective, but I didn’t watch it thinking that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson were acting for the small screen. I just thought they were brilliant and giving epic performances,” Jamie Dornan said.
Here’s wishing Jamie Dornan all the best for Fifty Shades Of Grey, that is set for a release on February 13, 2015.
