Marvel’s latest superhero action film about to release soon is here with its latest poster, which looks pretty rad in its own way. Taking a character that isn’t much followed and turning it into a superhero movie is a quite a risk taken by the makers of Ant-Man, but looking at the teaser and the posters, it sure seems worthy of all the hype.
Marvel Entertainment took to their Twitter account to post the latest poster of their film Ant-Man set to release on July 17. The caption reads, “#AntMan takes flight in the latest poster for his upcoming film, in theaters July 17!” The poster shows actor Paul Rudd in the Ant-Man costume sitting amidst flying bullets all around him with the tagline of the film mentioned below, “Heroes don’t get any bigger.”
Ant-Man is the story of a convict who is chosen by a world renowned scientist, Hank Pym, who is on a mission to save the world from a future disaster. The story shows the invention of suit that gives man the ability to shrink in size and become stronger, faster and powerful. If fallen into the wrong hands, this technology could create havoc in human life and thus Ant-Man has to face his nemises and save the world.
Lead cast of the film includes actor Paul Rudd who has mostly done romantic comedy and comedy films like I Love You, Man, This Is 40, Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Wanderlustamongst others. It’ll be quite a change to see the actor in a sci-fi movie. But from what we see in the trailer, Paul has added his own touch of humour quotient to the character which is quite a trend in Marvel superhero films.
Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige. The film also stars actorsMichael Douglas, Lost fame actress Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Michael Pena, Patrick Wilson, Judy Greer and rapper T.I. amongst others. The screenplay has been done by Edgar Wright, Adam McKay and Joe Cornish. Are you ready for the world’s tiniest superhero? We surely are!
