Angelina Jolie made her directional debut on the 2011 Golden Globe nominated film In The Land Of Blood and Honey is currently working in post-production on Unbroken.
Adapted from Laura Hillenbrand‘s bestseller, the film tells the story of Olympic runner and World War II soldier Louis Zamperini, who survived on a raft with two other crewmen for forty seven days after being shot down over the Pacific, only to be captured by the Japanese and held for two years as prisoners of war.
Angelina Jolie also stars in Maleficent, Disney‘s live-action retelling of The Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, opening May 30, 2014.
On the other hand, Brad Pitt has already established himself as a heavyweight producer through his Plan B Entertainment, which has turned out such hits as Moneyball, World War Z and the latest Oscar winner 12 Years A Slave.
Plan B Entertainment recently came aboard the military drama The Operators, based on Michael Hasting’s book about Gen; Stanley McChrystal, whom Brad Pitt is set to portray. He is also starring in David Ayer‘s upcoming World War II Drama Fury, set for release November 14, 2014.
Coming to the project that would star both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, well Angelina Jolie has penned the film and if reports are to be believed then it could be a relationship drama about a struggling couple who take a vacation in a last-ditch attempt to save their marriage.
It’s unclear what acting roles Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie would take, though the chances are that one would see them together as an on-screen couple.
