The award season has begun in the Hollywood and the Oscars is just around the corner. The nominations for the 88th Annual Academy Awards were announced Thursday morning January 14, 2016. It was a special two-part news conference that took place inside the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills. This year 8 films have been nominated for best picture. The 88^th Annual Academy Awards  will take place on February 28, 2016 at the Dolby Theatre.
