Lamar Davenport, 30, was a wannabe wrapper and the live-in boyfriend of E’Dena Hines, 33. According to Ray Roasrio, he had dinner with the couple who looked quite happy and content together, she had not seen Hines that happy in a very long time. On the way back home he snapped out of his mind and stabbed her to death on a Manhattan side walk.
Hines was the granddaughter of Morgan Freeman’s first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. She was also called her God-daughter. In a statement given to the media free man said, “The world will never see her talent in artistry.” She will be deeply missed by the people close to her.
Brydon Tarafa, 28, is the chief eye witness to this case, and according to the interview given by him, he first heard the scream of a girl and then he heard a man shouting,” Jesus Christ is born.” From the reports which have till now surfaced it looks like Lamar was not in control during the murder. Many are calling it an exorcism murder.
Lamar was earlier suffering from drug abuse and looks like he had a psychological break-down. After the incident he was taken into custody and sent to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, for medical evaluation. The police is investigating the murder and still trying to figure out what exactly happened that night after dinner. The investigators are clueless about what made him snap.
The eye witness reveals that Lamar kept stabbing her till he was detained and he was seen kneeling down before her body before he was arrested. According to Hines’ personal website, she was an actor and writer living in New York City where she studied at New York University’s Graduate Acting Program.
They released a statement on Sunday confirming a scholarship would be dedicated in her name. This event has truly shocked the world.
