Justin Lee Bartha well known for role as Doug Billings in The Hangover tied the knot in a tiny wedding ceremony on Saturday, January o4, 2014 with Lia Smith, his personal trainer, in Oahu, Hawaii. Close friends, Reese Witherspoon, Jim Toth, Ken Jeong and Jesse Eisenberg attended the wedding.
Justin has proposed Lia back in May 2013, when they made a romantic trip to Big Sur, California, something that had taken her completely by surprise.
The bride Lia, wore a white dress with thin spaghetti straps and jeweled sandals while Justin wore a dark colored suit and burgundy socks. They were sweet together and looked very much in love. He was holding her bouquet for her and walked with his arm around her after the vows. Their family and friends seemed so happy for them and had an incredible time hanging out in Hawaii leading up to the wedding.
The ceremony, which took place just before sunset on the Island of Oahu at a historic fishing pond with an altar made of sticks at around 04:00 pm and lasted for about fifteen minutes before the reception party began at a nearby Kualoa Ranch.
Justin and now his wife Lia first went public with their relationship when they were photographed relaxing on the beach in Maui, Hawaii on New Year’s Day in 2013. They first met at the Equinox in Los Angeles.
This is the first marriage for Justin. He previously dated Ashley Olsen for two years before splitting in March 2011.
Justin began his film career behind the camera as a production assistant on the film Analyze This. His acting debut came with his first film, 54 and since then he has been a part of films like National Treasure, Trust The Man, New York, I Love You besides The Hangover series. He even wrote and directed a short film, Highs And Lows with Darrell M. Smith as co-producer, which was shown at the South by Southwest Film Festival in 2003.
