Asheesh Saksena joins Time Warner Cable

Mumbai: Time Warner Cable announced that Asheesh Saksena has joined the company as Deputy Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy. In this role he will drive corporate strategy development and planning, advise senior leaders on strategy issues and oversee strategy projects. Saksena will be based out of the company’s New York office and report to executive vice president and chief strategy officer Peter Stern.

"Asheesh is one of the foremost thought leaders in the area of strategic development for telecommunications companies and we are very excited to have him join our team during this time of rapid technological innovation and growing competition," said Stern. "His insights will be a tremendous asset to Time Warner Cable as we continue the development and rollout of advanced cable, high-speed online and voice services to both residential and commercial markets."

Saksena joins Time Warner Cable from Accenture where he most recently served as Senior Executive and Partner, Communications and High Technology Strategy. While at Accenture he led Cable and Wireless strategy engagements and was Global Co-Lead for the Company’s Growth and Product Innovation initiative. Saksena’s focus while at Accenture was on helping clients achieve high performance through new strategies for driving growth with an increased emphasis on IP, mobility, and product innovation.
